This partnership continues today with a portion of the day's sales proceeds going to UJAMAA GRANDMAS. 2010 SWAZILAND GATHERING - Yvonne Way shown here with African grandmothers at the Swaziland Gathering in 2010 2010 AFRIGRAND CARAVAN - The Afrigrand Caravan brings Grandmother Tsabele and grand-daughter Thandeka to Calgary in 2010. 2010 BAGS BABIES and BEYOND - Volunteers appear ready for the doors to open at Marda Loop Communities Association in 2010. 2010 STEPHEN LEWIS VISIT - Stephen Lewis paid UJAMAA GRANDMAS a visit at McDougall United Church in November, 2010 as a result of the Scrabble Competition. KAZURI JEWELRY - Hilda Hunter was UJAMAA GRANDMAS first Kazuri Jewelry representative. 2012 BAKE SALE - Anne Taylor, Jan Robinson, Merle Young and Karen McManus tend the table at the Bake Sale at the 2012 Justice Film Festival.
2011 BAGS BABIES and BEYOND - Volunteers appear for the first time in our now signature aprons at the 2011 BAGS, BABIES & BEYOND SALE at Marda Loop. 2011 SCHOOL VISIT - Louise Breadner, Carole Carlton, Yvonne Way and Diane Woods at Dr. Morris Gibson School for the Red Shoelaces Campaign event in 2011. 2012 FASHION SHOW - UJAMAA GRANDMAS volunteers model outfits with friends and relatives at the first Fashion Show at Varsity Community Hall, 2012.
