We met for the first time and had a lively discussion of This Mournable Body by Tsitsi Dangarembga from Zimbabwe.

We decided our meetings would be every 6 weeks, which will give us lots of time to obtain and read the books.

The book to be discussed is titled Baking Cakes in Kigali by Gaile Parkin. This story  takes place in  Rwanda. The book has received several positive reviews, including this Globe and Mail review.
