UJAMAA BAGETTES (BAGETTES) is a small sub-set of UJAMAA GRANDMAS (UG) and raises funds through the sale of patterns and finished products. Proceeds from the sale of BAGETTES patterns are used to offset some of the costs of pattern testing and bag production. The remainder becomes part of UG donation to the Stephen Lewis Foundation Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign which supports African grandmothers and their AIDS-orphaned grandchildren.

Emmaline Bags also sells our patterns on their website. Emmaline sends all the proceeds from the sale of our patterns directly to the Foundation with credit to UG. We can’t say enough nice things about this partnership.
